We are off to a great start this school year. Everyone is doing a great job getting to school on time! Continue the great work! Everyone also looks very sharp in their new uniforms! Thank you to Ivette, our PTO president, for facilitating the uniform sales. Big thanks to all of our MSCCS teachers, staff, and families for a great first month.

National Bike/Walk to School Day is Wednesday, October 4th. Refreshments will be available in the courtyard for all students and parents who walked or biked to school that day.

Our school is closed on Monday, October 9th in observance of Columbus Day.

Our Pre K4 through 5th-grade students will enjoy a trip to the pumpkin patch on Thursday, October 12th. Students will be escorted to the Miami Shores Presbyterian Church by the Miami Shores Police Department. All pumpkins will be on sale, so please provide students with money that day. Pumpkins are on sale for $5 and up. All students will need signed permission forms in order to attend the field trip. All students must wear their orange MSCCS polos on this trip.

All classes will be celebrating Halloween on Tuesday, October 31st. Students are allowed to come in costume that day. No scary or inappropriate costumes, please! K-5th Graders will have their Halloween party in the Social Hall from 2:00-3:00 PM. If you’d like to volunteer to chaperone the party, please keep an eye out for the sign-up link in the email blasts.
